Lisa earned her AA degree in Chemical Dependency at Rio Salado Community College. She has both a bachelors degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Counseling from Ottawa University. Lisa has been working with people in recovery since 2001. She is passionate about working with the underlying issues of addiction, such as sexual abuse, physical abuse, emotional abuse, grief, loss addictive relationships and much more. Lisa is trained in EMDR, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing. EMDR can go beyond talk therapy when working with resolving trauma issues. She also started her own personal recovery over 20 years ago.
